Step Number One : Kill the Debt (and stop piling it on)Yesterday I gave my VISA card to my fiance and said that it wasn't to return. Yes I know cutting it up would be more effective but I want it to still be an option in an emergency. From now on not having money for a slurpee is NOT an emergency though. Last year we renovated the house and paid off all of our debts/loans and put it all into one easy payment on our house. The problem that came from that is that my maxed out credit card had been unleashed from its previously unusable state. Like a fucktard, whenever I was strapped for cash or wanted a big ticket item, there was Mr. VISA smiling warmly at me saying "you have $5000 right here to play with." Now, to no surprise, that card is nearing its max again. A new even greater max thanks to them raising my limit by another two thousand.
My first goal is to pay that fucker off and never look at debts warm embracing smile again. Period.
